Since 1991, SAK Comedy Lab has been brinGing the funny to downtown Orlando. With a team of professional ensemble of improv actors, these guys have been entertaining audiences with their unique brand of live improvised comedy week in, week out with comedy that is fun and edgy, using audience suggestions to make up characters, scenes and songs on the spot.

If you like the show “Whose Line is it Anyway”, you’ll love SAK Comedy Lab. Over the years, SAK has been the starting place for the careers of Wayne Brady as well as writers, actors and producers for “Mad TV”, “Saturday Night Live”, and sitcoms such as “Scrubs”, “The Office” and “30 Rock”.

Last summer, it was revealed that SAK Comedy Club would be moving from their long-time home of over 14 years at 29 S Orange Ave, to a new location at 55 West on Church Street.

SAK have signed a 10 year lease at 55 West, together with an additional 5 year option. so its fair to say that SAK is here to stay!

The final show for SAK at the charming, and intimate Orange Ave space was on April 6, with the company now focused on opening the doors at the spectacular new space at 55 West as soon as possible.

The impressive new home for SAK boasts an immersive, New York–style cityscape, with a professional theater space that has been custom designed for improv.

It was hoped to have the new venue open in mid April, but the latest from SAK is that the stunning new venue is almost ready to open, with some minor issues with the HVAC holding up the license for the new space.

Soft opening is imminent, so watch this space! For more detail on SAK Comedy, please click here.
