Rita Rudner brings her signature wit to Orlando for two shows on March 21, 2027
Rita Rudner brings her perfectly timed punchlines to the stage at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater for two shows.
Rita Rudner knows her way around a punch line. After starting her career as a Broadway dancer, she traded chorus lines for comedy clubs and became a regular on Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show.
Her clever one-liners went on to make her a Vegas headliner, where she sold nearly two million tickets and her show became the longest-running solo female comedy show in the city’s history. She’s sold out Carnegie Hall three times, starred in multiple HBO specials and helped write three Oscar broadcasts.
Catch this comedy legend whose sly observations and deadpan delivery turn everyday absurdities into a riot of relatable zingers in Orlando when she takes to the stage at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater on Sunday, March 21, 2027 for two shows, at 4 pm, and 7 pm.
Tickets for the shows are on sale now via the Dr Phillips Center website.
Rita Rudner is one of the most successful and enduring comedians in entertainment, achieving record-breaking success in Las Vegas with nearly two million tickets sold, more than $100 million in gross revenue, and the distinction of headlining the longest-running solo female comedy show in the city’s history.
A nine-time Las Vegas Comedian of the Year, she has built a celebrated career spanning stand-up, television, publishing, theater, and radio. Her acclaimed HBO and PBS comedy specials, BBC television series, and syndicated talk show Ask Rita earned both strong ratings and industry recognition, including a Gracie Allen Award and a Grammy nomination for her audiobook narration.
Rudner began her career as a Broadway dancer before transitioning to stand-up comedy, becoming a frequent guest on major late-night television programs. She has also authored several bestselling books and collaborated extensively with her husband, producer, and writer Martin Bergman, on stage productions and radio programs.
In recent years, she has continued to perform, write, and create new work, including her 2023 memoir My Life in Dog Years and the world premiere of the comedy STAGED.
