The popular after hours halloween event, Howl-O-Scream is once again returnng to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
Howl-O-Scream returns to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in full force this year, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more.
In 2025, Howl-O-Scream is bringing fear to the next level and returns on select dates from September 5 to November 2, 2025.
As we get ever closer to spooky season, Busch Gardens are revealing the unspeakable horror we can expect at this year's event, with not one but two returning fan-favorite houses announced.
RETURNING HOUSE ANNOUNCEMENT: Shadows of Wonderland
Alice escaped once. She woke up, left the dream behind, and forgot the cost. But Wonderland didn’t forget... and now, it calls her back. She returns to twisted roads and faces she once loved, now sharpened into something else.
Every step drags her deeper into the nightmare she left behind. The Queen isn’t just a tyrant now... she’s a mirror. To end her, Alice must confront the thing she fears most: herself. Will she become what Wonderland demands or be erased by it forever?
RETURNING HOUSE ANNOUNCEMENT: Stranglewood Estate
Stranglewood Estate used to be a place of music and opulence, but it now rots behind locked gates. Madame Gwendolyn Stranglewood, once beloved, hid something cruel beneath her charm.
Stranglewood still stands, decaying from the inside, and if you see her watching from above, you’ve already been invited in.

Horror-filled haunted houses are back with a vengeance in 2025. New and returning favorite houses await your demise, but the scares don’t stop there.
Unspeakable horror lives in every dark corner of the park - there’s nowhere to hide. With frightful scare zones, roaming hoards and Florida’s wildest rides at night, screams await at every turn.

Haunted Houses
Stranglewood Estate
Once a hub of lavish parties, Stranglewood Estate now echoes with the whispers of its dark past. Madame Stranglewood, a beloved socialite with a hidden penchant for cruelty, ruled this town with an iron fist. She lured unsuspecting servants into a secret room in the basement, where she ended their lives, trapping their souls in eternal torment.
Shadows Of Wonderland
Step back into Wonderland, but not as you remember it. This warped dreamscape has come from years of torment under the Queen of Hearts' reign of terror. Once playful characters have become bitter shadows, their anger fueled by Alice's abandonment. Now, you must confront this distorted reality and face a vengeful Queen who wants Alice and you gone.

Ragnar’s Wrath
The icy winds of Niflheim howl as you approach a charred Viking longhouse, its stench of death a prelude to the horrors within.
