Back in February we brought you the news that Orlando based V Group Concepts, the name behind many of Orlando's well known hospitality venues including SideBar, Room 22, Vyce, BauHaus, Hanson’s Shoe Repair, and Novelty were planning to introduce an exciting new bar concept to Central Florida.
The new venture, Proper which is located within a 2,000-square-foot space at 112 S. Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando enjoyed a successful soft opening last weekend, and is now ready to open on Friday, April 14, 2023.
Proper is a cocktail bar / vinyl listening bar that incorporates a state-of-the-art sound system, offering a unique listening experience for record and music enthusiasts alike.
The concept is described as "Orlando’s premier craft cocktail bar and high energy listening room. We’re not just any bar, we’re a destination for those who appreciate the finer things in life. We live to express individuality, authenticity, creativity, and for extraordinary experiences. Whether you’re a craft cocktail connoisseur, an audiophile, or searching for a unique night out, Proper was made for you."
To celebrate the launch of Proper, they are hosting a grand opening celebration from Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16, with special guest DJ Master Kev performing on Saturday night, April 15.
Tickets must be reserved and presented to gain entry on any of the days, with Proper offering various time slots.

The lounge will also feature a variety of local DJs and performers who will provide a musical backdrop for visitors.
