PRIMARK is looking for its first employees for new store coming to The Florida Mall in Orlando

Irish based chain Primark, a discount Fashion, Home & Beauty retailer, and one of the leading brands on the high streets of the United Kingdom and Ireland is getting ready to open its first store in Central Florida within The Florida Mall in Orlando.

Primark Orlando

Cut-price fast-fashion retailer Primark who currently only have one store in Florida, which is located at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, has huge expansion plans for the south of the country, with the company previously announcing that it would open 60 new stores in the US by 2026.

Primark are currently building a massive distribution center in Jacksonville, the companies second in the US, which will anchor the new stores, including a currently under construction store here in Orlando at The Florida Mall.

Primark currently has more than 400 stores worldwide, including 17 stores currently in the US, with most in and around New York and New England.

We first revealed back in February that Primark were opening a store in Orlando, and progress is now being made on the building which was previously occupied by Forever 21.

While no opening timeframe has been revealed by Primark, the new store is currently looking for an Employee Relations Manager, and a P&C(HR) Manager.

Primark will open in the retail space that was home to Forever 21, who are now open in the former Selfie WRLD next to Carlo's Bakery, with Self WRLD also now open in a new space near Macy's.

In addition to having an entrance inside the Florida Mall, the new Primark store will have its own direct access from the parking lot.

The 50,000 SF space is next to American Girl, H & M, and Zara.

Construction is underway, with the transformation of the space expected to cost in region of $2 million.

The main contractor is J Raymond Construction Corp.

Primark Orlando

Primark is a low-priced retailer carrying a wide range of product selection including homeware, women’s and men’s clothing, children’s, beauty, accessories, and more.

The store is known for its rock-bottom prices, which are lower than competitors such as H&M. You can pick up a dress for as little as $4 or pair of high-heels for $10.

The retailer was first opened in Ireland using the name Penney’s, but had to re-brand to Primark after expanding outside of Ireland. This was due to the American retailer JC Penney which had the name Penney’s already registered in the United Kingdom.

Throughout Ireland, the retailer continues to be branded under its original name of “Penney’s.”

Primark Orlando

Primark offers a huge selection of Disney merchandise, including a newly launched Disney 100 range.

The retailer even has Disney Cafe's in a selection of its UK stores including Birmingham and Belfast, that serve Mickey waffles and more!

We can't wait for Primark to open in Orlando, we hope you are too!
