The popular Dr Phillips neighborhood French-American Grill & Bar, La Boucherie has closed its doors forever after five years of serving a wide variety of delicious steak, poultry, seafood, and vegetarian options.
The family-owned Orlando restaurant, La Boucherie which opened its doors at 5170 Dr Phillips Blvd in 2007 has closed forever, announcing the sad news on its Facebook Page.
La Boucherie served its last meal on Sunday, February 18, with the restaurants owners explaining the difficult deciison to close the restaurant citing the harsh realities of the current business climate making it increasingly difficult for the restaurant to remain open.
The owners commented, "Running a restaurant is more than just a business; it's a labor of love fueled by passion and dedication. While we have poured our hearts into every dish and every interaction, the harsh realities of the current business climate have made it increasingly difficult for us to continue." They went on to thank diners, "We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has dined with us, celebrated special occasions, and supported us throughout the years. Your patronage and loyalty have meant the world to us, and we are incredibly grateful for the memories we have shared together."
The great news is that the families nearby sister restaurant, Le Cafe de Paris located at 5170 Dr. Phillips Boulevard will remain open.
