Pool expansion confirmed for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground at Walt Disney World

Guests at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in Walt Disney World can look forward to making an even bigger splash in the future!

Walt Disney World has announced that they are expanding the a rustic "American Frontier " themed Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, to make room for even more fun and relaxation. 

A brand-new zero-entry pool and deck area is being added alongside the existing pool, effectively doubling the space for guests to enjoy.

The expansion will also include a tennis court and two pickleball courts, giving families even more ways to play together in the great outdoors.

Work is already underway on the project at Fort Wilderness which began back in early May.

Guests staying at the resort are being advised that construction is taing place near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area.

The good news is that The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open for guests to enjoy while work is carried out on the expansion project.

Currently there is no completion date for the expansion.
