Downtown Credo has revealed that it is to close its remaining coffee shop located in the North Quarter of the city.
The former Orlando coffee shop chain Downtown Credo is getting ready to say farewell to their last remaining location.
Having closed its original College Park location in May 2020, it's now just over a year since the pay-what-you-will coffee shop, closed its second location inside AdventHealth’s Health Village at 550 E. Rollins Street, and now Downtown Credo has made the sad announcement that its closing its remaining location in the North Quarter at 885 N Orange Ave, Orlando later this month.
The space is closing due to the buildings landlords issuing a non-renewal notice, following unsuccessful negotiation for a new lease.
The coffee shop made the announcement via its Instagram account - "It’s with a heavy heart that we inform you our last day of operation is the 25th of August. We’ll have more to say before we go, but for now— you can support us at the link in our bio via online coffee sales. We love you Orlando."
Downtown CREDO was founded in the spring of 2010 and opened the doors to its first coffee shop in College Park in early 2011, now will all locations closed, the business will continue to sell its coffee online and wholesale, while searching for a new bricks and mortar location in the future.
