Thriving Hospitality, the name behind many of Orlando's well known venues including Saddle Up and Thrive on N Orange Ave, are finally getting ready to introduce a new dining and nightlife concept to Orlando.
Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktail was originally slated to open its doors on May 15 as Mills 50's newest dining and nightlife location on North Mills Avenue, but following a series of delays, that date came and went. Now Lamp & Shade is finally getting ready open, with an opening date announced for December this year.
Playfully yet eloquently named, Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails got its inspiration from the idea to ‘hangout and throw some shade in conversation’ while paying homage to the history of its location, a building that was previously the home of The Lamp Shade Fair, well-known by locals for over 50 years.
Lamp & Shade will serve Asian-influenced, tapas-style food and tiki-inspired cocktail.
