Make Music Day, also known as Fête de la Musique, is celebrated annually on June 21, and in 2025, Orlando is taking part in the free community event for the first time.

Make Music Day, a wild and wonderful mix of free public musical events, will make its debut on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Orlando! Performances will be offered at a variety of locations throughout Orange County and are FREE and open to the public.
This celebration is a joint effort of Orange County’s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs and United Arts of Central Florida. “The arts are a vital part of our diverse community and enhance the quality of life for visitors and residents,” said Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings. “Make Music Orange County is an opportunity to showcase talented residents, and we encourage families and individuals to participate.”
“Every day, the beautiful sounds of music can be heard all across Orange County, from performances at local theaters to guitarists strumming during lunch in downtown Orlando,” said Jennifer Evins, CEO of United Arts of Central Florida. “Make Music Orange County invites everyone to sing a song, share their voice, or play an instrument, and join the celebration.”
