The 188th Oktoberfest will take place from Sept. 16 to Oct. 3, 2023 in Munich, while here in Orlando we love to keep the party going, with events starting early September through until late October, Prost!
Orlando loves its food and drink festivals, so it's no surprise that there are lots of Oktoberfest celebrations happening throughout Central Florida.
The occasion for the first Oktoberfest in 1810 was the wedding of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen. Since it was so well-received, the festival was repeated in the following years, and the rest as they say is history.
Oktoberfest is celebrated around the world, and no more so than here on Orlando with multiple events celebrating beer, pretzels, music and more!
