Norman's is located on Orlando’s Restaurant Row, offering Chef Norman Van Aken’s “New World Cuisine”

Southern Living has announces the winners of its eighth annual South's Best Awards for 2024.

The awards recognize readers' favorite Southern destinations and experiences, with Norman's now located in Dr Phillips, Orlando named The Best New Restaurant In Florida 2024.

Norman Van Aken is no newcomer to Florida’s dining world. Since the 1990s, he has established that the Sunshine State has a cuisine all its own. After years at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes Orlando, his namesake restaurant now has a new home at the Dellagio Town Center in Restaurant Row.

The massive space has an elegant indoor dining room, and a lounge-like outdoor terrace, which gives the restaurant two distinct personalities.

The menu offers “New World Cuisine,” featuring local ingredients and a fusion of cultures, textures, and colors that will please your palate and soul.

The menu selection offers lots of diverse dishes crafted by the talented team and the famous restaurateur, chef, and author Norman Van Aken, which includes many classic Van Aken dishes like My ‘Down Island’ French Toast (foie gras, griddled brioche, passion fruit caramel, and candied lime zest), is still as strong as ever, making a night at Norman’s feel comforting yet surprising.

Also in Souther Living's eighth annual South's Best Awards for 2024, Orlando was ranked 10th in the south's Best Cities category.
