New restaurant, Osteria Ester soft opens in Orlando's Thornton Park District

Osteria Ester, a new Italian inspored restaurnat is set to open in the South Eola district just in time for the holidays.

Good Salt Restaurant Group is expanding again, with its latest restaurant concept, Osteria Ester set to open in Thronton Park this month.
Jason and Sue Chin are the husband-and-wife team behind Good Salt Restaurant Group, the creative force behind some of Orlando's most celebrated dining concepts, including The Osprey, Reyes Mezcaleria, Seito Sushi, and the recently opened Sparrow Wine Bar will soft open Osteria Ester just in time for the busy holiday period on December 9.
Osteria Ester takes over the space which was the former home of Soco, the contemporary Southern restaurant fronted by chef Greg Richie for 11 years at 629 E Central Blvd, Orlando.
At the time that Soco closed last May, Richie hinted that something exciting would be taking its place, and together with Jason and Sue Chin, and the Good Salt Restaurant Group, Osteria Ester willl offer a full dinner service, together with a lunch menu and coffee at the bar throughout the day.
The kitchen at the new neighborhood restaurant will be overseen by Michael Cooper, executive chef-partner of The Osprey.
At Osteria Ester, all of their pasta is made in-house, by hand on the pasta-centric menu.
Osteria Ester soft opens on December 9, with reservations now live on OpenTable, plus, you can also visit the restaurants website to check out the menu.
