New Orlando Theater Venue, White Elephant Cabaret Theater sets the stage for a May opening

Great news for the Orlando arts community as a new theater company is set to bring even more theatre and music to the City Beautiful.


The White Elephant Theatre Company, founded by local entertainer and drag performer Robert Crane, has announced that they are wanting to open the doors to a new theater space, The White Elephant Cabaret Theatre on May 5.

The White Elephant Cabaret Theatre will be located at a former church located at 1123 W. Fairbanks Avenue in Orlando, the space is being transformed into a 100-seat, cabaret-style performing arts venue and will not only be home to White Elephant Theatre Company productions but also any theatre production company, cabaret performer, pianist, vocalists and those needing a home to present their art.


Founder and Artistic Director Robert Crane said "We want the space to be a venue for all, especially those who are underserved and disenfranchised with a focus on diversitv and inclusion." Where they can obtain a pertormance space at a reasonable cost.


The theater will be offering cabaret style performances in the early evening known as The Clock out and Cabaret Series with theatrical and musical presentations in the evening.


The Clock out and Cabaret Series is tentatively scheduled to begin approximately May 5, with its first grand opening theatrical presentation in Mid-June.
