The exciting new BBQ concept from Matt Hinckley and Trivium lead singer Matt Heafy, Boxer & Clover has soft opened inside East End Market.
Early in January we brought you the news that Farm & Haus had closed their location at Audubon Park's East End Market to concentrate on their cafe on Park Avenue in Winter Park, with Matt Hinckley who owns Hinckley's Fancy Meats, a specialty sandwich shop that has been an East End Market favorite for five years expanding his presence with a new barbecue concept.
Now together, with Trivium lead singer Matt Heafy, Matt has soft opened Boxer & Clover at East End Market, bringing you the best in responsibly-sourced meats straight from local farms. From the tender brisket, to the ribs and pulled pork, every bite tells a story of quality and care. But that’s not all! Their sides are handcrafted from scratch daily. Whether it’s the creamy potato salad or tangy coleslaw, prepare to savor every bite. The homemade pies are more than just sweets – they’re nostalgic bites that rival your favorite family recipes.
Chef Pete Morales who has been smoking meats at Hinkley Meats for several years, is now focused on all things barbecue, giving the concept's two smokers (Lucy & Shirley) a real workout!
Boxer & Clover will be in “soft open” mode for a couple of weeks to iron out any kinks, and then the’ll throw a big bash in the East End Market courtyard.
Right now the bbq joint will open round 11 am until they run out. So far the best selling item so far is a Chopped Brisket Sandwich!
