Walt Disney World have already confirmed that an Encanto character meet and greet is coming to Magic Kingdom later this year, featuring Mirabel, the star of the hit animated movie, but lets talk about Bruno...
Everyone is already talking about Mirabel coming to Magic Kingdom this fall, where she will take over the Merida location in the Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom, with the area redesigned to resemble Mirabel's Casita.
But now we are to see a Bruno Madrigal meet and greet coming to Walt Disney World also!
The Disney Careers website has posted a casting call for a Bruno look-alike performer for Walt Disney World, and although it looks unlikely we will see Bruno as a permanent addition to the meet and greet roster, it appears Bruno will be appearing at special events, with the job listing specifying " This role is for potential future special events".
This could mean we may see Bruno at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, or perhaps the new JollyWood Nights this holiday season at Hollywood Studios.

Disney Live Entertainment is seeking performers to portray Bruno from the animated film, “Encanto.” This role is for potential future special events. Performers will have the opportunity to bring this role to life, in addition to performing as the world famous Disney Characters, at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL. These roles require performers to have full-time work availability in Orlando, FL.
Seeking The Following Role:
Bruno: 5’6″ – 5’9″, athletic build, with an expressive, careful, and selfless personality. From the animated film, “Encanto.”
Audition Location:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Wardrobe/Rehearsal Facility 3271 Sherberth Rd Kissimmee, FL 34747
Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
All applicants will be taught a movement routine. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. No sandals or flip-flops.
Seeking performers to begin work within the next eight months.
Current WDW International Program Cast Members are not eligible to audition.
Current WDW Character Cast Members are not eligible to audition.
