Let's go round again - Kura Revolving Sushi Bar set to open 2nd Orlando location

Japanese sushi restaurant chain Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is planning to open a second outpost in Orlando.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar which opened its first Orlando restaurant last August at 11579 Regency Village Drive, near the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, has announced that its set to open a second Orlando restaurant at Waterford Lakes Town Center.


An opening date has not yet been announced, with the Kura website only showing "opening soon".

Kura which is headquartered in Osaka, Japan, currently has 45 US locations with 17 coming soon including Waterford Lakes, and another coming soon to Tampa.


Since the first Kura restaurant opened in 1977, they have grown substantially with more than 500 locations across Japan, Taiwan and the United States.


The food is prepared using fresh, high quality ingredients free of artificial sweeteners, seasonings, preservatives and colorings.


The restaurant uses a unique 2 layered conveyor belt system to deliver sushi, sashimi, soup and noodles to guests, and is the only sushi bar in Orlando that offers this set up, although it's a popular concept throughout the word.


The conveyor belt system has two belts with one specially for delivering special orders to guests tables.
