Kids ages 6-12 are invited to show off their creativity as LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s Junior Galaxy Explorers Contest makes its FINAL Florida stop at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

This Saturday, Jan. 17 from 10 am – 2 pm, kids ages 6-12 are invited to show off their creativity as LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s Junior Galaxy Explorers Contest makes its FINAL Florida stop at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Kids ages 6-12 will design and present their own LEGO spacecraft in a high-energy, hands-on build challenge, competing for a chance to be selected as one of the first-ever Junior Galaxy Explorers and among the first to ride Galacticoaster, LEGOLAND Florida’s first indoor, space-themed family coaster, opening February 27.
Submissions will be reviewed by LEGOLAND Master Model Builders, alongside ambassadors from Blue Origin’s Club for the Future, who are searching for the most imaginative, out-of-this-world designs.
Selected winners will receive the ultimate prize package, including:
An opening-weekend stay at LEGOLAND Hotel
Annual passes for their family
Themed, on-camera apparel
A one-of-a-kind commemorative LEGO build
A first ride on Galacticoaster before it opens to the public

LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND California Resorts are preparing to open Galacticoaster on both the east coast, and the west coast!
Galacticoaster is the first indoor, space-themed family coaster, and its opening at both resorts in early 2026, and this record-setting addition will send families rocketing through a universe of LEGO imagination and space-powered adventure.
The indoor coaster marks LEGOLAND California’s first new coaster in two decades and Florida’s first new coaster in 15 years. Each immersive mission will take explorers on a completely customized journey into LEGO space.
