Maitland residents will soon be able to experience the super-large pizzas and fun atmosphere at Lazy Moon Pizza, with the restaurant announcing they are in the final stages of the buildout of their latest location Orlando Avenue.
The popular pizza restaurant, Lazy Moon Pizza with locations at University Boulevard near UCF and East Colonial Drive near Mills Avenue first announced back in September 2021 that they were expanding, choosing the former Einstein Bros. Bagles building inside the Shoppes at Maitland on Orlando Avenue to open their third location.
Now after a long wait Lazy Moon Pizza who is best known for its super-large pizzas and fun-loving atmosphere have finally given Maitland residents an update on an opening date, and after many many months, the great news is that they should be ready to open in April.
Commenting on the news, Lazy Moon Pizza posted an update on their social media accounts, "After many many months, we’ve reached the final leg of the buildout journey in bringing a once (literally) rotten building to life. Our contractor’s schedule has the site finished in 9 weeks. We are going to try to open immediately after (pending inspection progress). We are so grateful for everyone’s excitement and patience and we can’t wait to party on our super cool new patio with you all"
