Tonight, Monday, January 2, 2023 at Walt Disney World, a kitchen fire at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop resulted in 2 hotels being evacuated at The Boardwalk Resort.
A kitchen fire in the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort this evening has resulted in guests being evacuated from Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Guests have shared videos and photos on social media showing a kitchen fire in the open kitchen at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, including Andrew Carter on Facebook,
Cast Members asked guests to evacuate the restaurant, before guests were evacuated from the entire resort.
Reedy Creek Fire Department attended the incident and the fire was extinguished. although the extent of the damage was not immediately clear.
