Free event. in honor of the Jason Chin: Your Place in the Universe exhibition, will feature hands-on activities, live music, storytelling, dance and more.

Orlando Museum of Art will be hosting a free Family Day on Saturday, October 4, from 11 am to 2 pm in honor of the Jason Chin: Your Place in the Universe exhibition.
This event is a fun and educational experience for all ages, featuring hands-on activities, live music, storytelling, dance and more, all centered around Jason Chin’s award-winning art.
Highlights on the day include:
Symphony Storytime@OMA
Enjoy live music presented by musicians of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra along with narration of the book Water is Water: A Book About the Water Cycle written by Miranda Paul and illustrated by Jason Chin
Music with Orlando children’s entertainer Mr. Richard
Enviroscape activity with City of Orlando’s Streets and Stormwater Division
Solar telescope viewing with Central Florida Astronomical Society
Dance of the Wild
Where the panther prowls, the crane soars, and the manatee glides – a living tribute to Florida’s wild, brought to life by the dancers of Voci Dance through a movement and puppetry parade
Baby and Me with Orlando Family Stage
Story Strolls with Orlando Family Stage
Keepsake photos by Laser Photos
Storytelling with Orange County Library System storyteller
Refreshments available for purchase from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice and Let’s Dough It
