Enjoy a hike through the Preserve, guided by the light of the glowing Jack-O-Lanterns!

Join Oakland Nature Preserve for what could be West Orange county's only nighttime Jack-o-lantern hike.
Over two nights, Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, from 6.30 pm - 9 pm, Oakland Nature Preserve is hosting an after dark family-friendly hike through the Preserve, guided by the light of the glowing Jack-O-Lanterns!
Want to dress in costume? Go right ahead, this is spooky season, Sponsors will have trick-or-treat stations to collect candy, pose at photo ops, and the preserve will have some cool critters out.

Sport your costumes, collect candy, pose at photo ops, and learn about native critters. You can even enter your own carved/decorated pumpkin to light the way along the trail

Admission to the ONP Pumpkin Glow is donation based, all proceeds will benefit the Oakland Nature Preserves mission: To promote an understanding of the fragile balance between mankind and the environment by educating visitors about Lake Apopka basin's ecosystems and cultural history, and by restoring and conserving the lands within the Preserve.
Bring your flash lights and lanterns 'cause its dark in them there woods.
Oakland Nature Preserves is located at 747 Machete Trail Oakland, with parking along the driveway, in the lot outside of the gate, and in the parking lot of Family Christian School.
