A growing Indian street food chain based in Atlanta is coming to International Drive here in Orlando!
Masti Indian Street Eats describe themselves as "Fun Indian Street Eats
Meets The City Life In The USA."
Founded by Ricky Walia and Jay Walia, Masti Indian Street Eats have four locations in Atlanta and are now franchising the business nationwide.
The Orlando restaurant which will be a franchised location, is set to open at Suite 160, 8050 International Drive, at the junction with Sand Lake Road, across from McDonalds next to Mango's, when the restaurant opens, expect casual diningt with Bollywood tunes serving classic Indian food and innovative American-Indian fusion.
MASTI (means ‘fun’ in Hindi) offers innovative Indian street food in a modern, colorful environment, with the food customized to meet your taste preferences.
The restaurant caters to a variety of palates, offering authentic Indian food, including:
Tikka Masla - Sweet, spiced and flavorful tomato cream curry.
Biryani - Basmati rice mixed together with your choice of protein and fine spices.
Chicken 65 - Spiced chicken strips marinated in chick pea flour and yogurt then fried to perfection with curry leaves. Garnished with onions, jalapenos and cilantro.
You will also discover classic roadside street favorites, including:
Pao Bhaji - Mashed vegetables cooked to perfection with desi ghee (butter) served with toasted buns.
Vegetable Momo - Steamed dumplings stuffed with seasoned vegetables served with special homemade chili garlic sauce.
Chicken Momo - Steamed dumplings stuffed with chicken served with special homemade chili garlic sauce.
The mega also offers Indian takes on American classics including:
Chicken Masala Burgers - Tandoori grilled chicken tikka topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese and house special sauce.
Paramtha Tacos - Crispy, flakey bread filled with tomatoes, onions, cheese and your choice of butter chicken, paneer cheese or egg bhurji.
Kabab Dogs - Toasted hotdog buns with a kabab link topped with relished onions, sauteed bell peppers and our Masti sauce.
Right now there is no official opening details for the I-Drive location, but the new restaurant is expected to open later this year.
