In the week that Dua Lipa announces new album, star gets new Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Orlando

One Kiss is all it takes to fall in love with Madame Tussauds Orlando's newest wax figure!

Get ready to Dance the Night away with Dua Lipa, the newest addition to Madame Tussauds Orlando at ICON Park.

The museum has today, Friday, March 15, 2024 unveiled the new wax figure of the 28-year-old singer.  Styled in a custom fuchsia lace catsuit with matching gloves and boots, inspired by the Balenciaga ensemble she wore on her Future Nostalgia tour, she's ready to step onto the dance floor with you. 

With one arm draped over her head, the lifelike wax figure wears sparkly eye shadow and sports recreations of the real “Levitating” musician’s arm tattoos. 

“When the world stopped in 2020, Dua Lipa was the first artist to ensure we all kept dancing in our living rooms with her smash record, Future Nostalgia,” said Paul Gould, general manager of Madame Tussauds Orlando. “This figure is a love letter to the superstar and album that held our spirits high during a truly unprecedented time.” 

“Her impact on pop music is inspiring,” Gould added. “Her addition to Madame Tussauds Orlando is a celebration of her undeniable influence on culture and music across the globe.” 

The news comes in the week that Dua Lipa was announced a headliner at the Glastonbury Festival in England, together with Coldplay and SZA.

Plus, the star announced that her highly anticipated third studio album Radical Optimism is set to arrive May 3.

Another recent addition to Madame Tussauds Orlando at ICON Park is a wax figure of Rihanna.

The "Diamonds" singers wax figure is inspired by RiRi's performance during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show including the bold red bodysuit that the 35-year-old wore for the 13-minute performance, which broke the record for most-viewed halftime show of all time. 

The life-like figure features RiRi's baby-bump, showing the moment it was revealed that she was pregnant with her second child, Riot Rose Mayers.

Rihanna's wax figure can be found inside the museum's Music Room, which includes wax figures of Harry Styles, Ariana Grande and Beyoncé.
