Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is scheduled to temporarily close later this month at Universal Studios Florida.
Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit will close on August 14, through August 18.
No reason for the closure has been revealed, but maintenance or refurbishment is most likely,
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is the largest X-Coaster ever built by German manufacturer Maurer Söhne.
The steel coaster debuted at Universal Studios Florida in August 2009, with a height of 167 feet, a length of 3,800 feet, and a top speed of 65 miles per hour, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit features on-ride music, LED lighting, and on-ride photos and videos captured from cameras mounted in each passenger row.
