Part cookie, part cake, part brownie, Cookie Plug is bringing its unique cookies to Central Florida, with the opening of its first store this weekend.
We first brought you the news last July that California based cookie chain, Cookie Plug had set its sights on Central Florida, with plans to open multiple locations throughout the area, and now the hip-hop themed bakery is set to open its first of the locations on Saturday, May 25 at 1307 Cornerstone Blvd. in Daytona Beach, within Tomoka Town Center.
This new store is part of a franchise deal that will see Cookie Plug eventually open 60 locations across Central Florida, including 15 Orlando locations in the near future.
The one-of-a-kind concept is one of the fastest growing dessert concepts in the country.
According to QSR, Cookie Plug have also inked development deals to open multiple locations in Tampa, and Miami as well as San Jose, San Francisco, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Houston. with hundreds of franchise locations now under development.
When the new Daytona store opens you can expect ‘‘The fattest and thickest cookies on the block’’ ranging from the traditional like the O.G. (chocolate chip) to the unique like the Pink Elephant (strawberry cheesecake), Purple Haze (purple cookie with white chocolate chips), and the Bam Bam Cookie (Fruity Pebbles cookie).
