Highly anticipated Japanese dining experience, O-Ku to open soon in Winter Park

O-Ku Winter Park is set to open before the end of the year at Minnesota Row, 805 South Orlando Avenue.

A new chapter is taking shape in Winter Park. Bringing O-Ku’s modern approach to Japanese cuisine to the reimagined Minnesota Row, this location blends timeless tradition with contemporary energy. Guests can expect clean, balanced flavors, refined design, and a space created for connection and celebration.

Set within the transformed Minnesota Row—formerly Winter Park Business Center—this revitalized, walkable destination will introduce vibrant dining, retail, and creative spaces surrounded by lush landscaping, open greens, and an inviting central gathering plaza.

O-Ku is a nationally recognized Japanese dining experience from the Indigo Road Hospitality Group that blends traditional culinary techniques with thoughtfully sourced ingredients and unique presentations. 

O-Ku has locations in Alys Beach, Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Greenville, Jacksonville Beach, Nashville, Raleigh, Tampa, and Washington D.C., and also owns the popular Winter Park restaurant, Corner Chophouse.

Executive Chef Cuong Le leads the kitchen, drawing on globally sourced fish alongside regional produce and local partners to craft a menu that spans traditional sashimi and nigiri, creative sushi rolls, and chef specialties like Shrimp and Lobster Gyoza and an A5 Wagyu Katsu Sando. This location also has a traditional Japanese Robata grill that produces a wide range of skewers like Pork Belly and Japanese Eggplant.

O-Ku’s inviting dining room balances a family-friendly dynamic with an elevated feel, making it the perfect destination for any occasion like group dining, date night, happy hour, and more.

O-Ku Winter Park is located at 805 S. Orlando Ave, Suite E, Winter Park, FL 32789. The restaurant will be Sunday-Thursday from 4-10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 4-11 pm.

O-Ku will accept walk ins and reservations, which will be available on OpenTable at a later date.
