One night. Tons of ice cream. The DeLand Ice Cream Walk is a delightful way to explore the city's historic district while sampling Ice Cream from local shops.
Get ready to put the cherry on top of your summer with a sweet adventure in Downtown DeLand!
The DeLand Ice Cream Walk is the perfect way to kick off this year's summer break, happening tomorrow night, Friday, May 29 from 6 - 8 pm.
Grab your sweet tooth crew because this year’s lineup is looking extra sweet. On this delightful walk, you will have the chance to sample ice cream supplied by your local shops, Pat & Toni’s Sweet Things, Berryville, and Whit’s Frozen Custard of DeLand at multiple locations throughout downtown.
The DeLand Ice Cream Walk is an evening filled with ice cream, community, and summer fun all throughout downtown. Whether you're a child, an adult, an ice cream aficionado, or just someone who loves to explore new flavors, the DeLand Ice Cream Walk has something for everyone, you will love strolling around downtown while indulging in delightful frozen treats.
This year you can joing WUCF TV at DeLand’s Ice Cream Walk for a sweet, family-friendly evening filled with fun and discovery!
As you explore downtown and enjoy delicious treats, be sure to stop by WUCF's tent in Pioneer Park to meet Xavier Riddle from the hit PBS KIDS series Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum.
Families will have the chance to meet Xavier and explore WUCF’s wide range of free educational resources. They’ll also connect with stories and ideas tied to America250, helping kids discover the people and moments that have shaped our nation—just like Xavier does on his adventures.
This family-friendly event is the scoop of the season — but hurry, tickets are limited and melting fast, so scoop yours up before they melt away!
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for kids 12 & under. The event is rain or shine — because ice cream tastes good in any weather!
There are a limited number of tickets available.
Passport Pickup:
Bring your ticket(s) to the tent located in Pioneer Park (corner of Woodland Blvd. & Rich, Downtown DeLand) anytime between 5pm and 8pm the night of the event. They'll scan it, and give you your passport.
