GayDays Orlando 2026 announces it's BACK ON and moving to a new location!

GayDays, the world's most popular gay and lesbian celebration, attracting over 150,000 gay and lesbian travelers to Orlando each June to celebrate Pride Month has taken guests on somewhat of a rollercoaster of emotions this month!

2026 is the events 35th Anniversary, but instead of celebrating, organizers dropped a bombshell earlier this month, announcing that this years event was cancelled, leaving thousands of people disappointed.

Breaking the news to everyone on the GayDays website, organisers announced, "After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to pause the GayDays Orlando event scheduled for June 2026."

Citing changes to the host hotel agreement, the loss of key sponsorship support, and broader challenges currently impacting LGBTQIA+ events nationwide, organizers commented that it was impossible to deliver this year's event.

But now is appears that the impossible is now actually possible! Yes, clear your calender, and get ready to party as GayDays Orlando is back on and happening in June.

Organizers have confirmed that GayDays will return June 4–8, 2026, and it's moving to a new location with an entire hotel takeover. Announcing the news organizers commented on social media "We are so excited to let you know that we have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure we bring the party that you want, expect, and deserve."

GayDays will now take place at Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando SW - Celebration Area by IHG, 5711 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, with the entire property, including all guest rooms, event spaces and amenities, eserved exclusively for GayDays.

The goal of organizers is to provide a private, welcoming environment where the LGBTQ+ community can gather, celebrate and connect throughout the weekend.

“We took the time to make the right decision for our community and for the future of GayDays,” said Josh Duke, co-owner of GayDays. “In 2026, the entire property will be dedicated to our guests, creating the immersive, adult-focused experience people have been asking for.”

All previously announced events and entertainment will be happening, including daytime pool parties, nightly entertainment, Mr. GayDays and Miss GayDays Pageants, The GayDays Vendor Expo and marketplace, the Red Room late-night experience and adult-themed programming.

Charles Cantrell, co-owner of GayDays explained, “Now that everything is in place, our focus is on bringing people together and making 2026 a strong return.”
