Surround yourself and your pets with local vendors and fur-tastic activities while supporting the museum!
Mennello Museum of American Art is once again hosting their FREE Pet Membership and Pet Event!
Pools In The Park With Pups is happening on Sunday, August 03, 2025, from 11 am - 1 pm.
Surround yourself and your pets with local vendors and fur-tastic activities while supporting the museum, art education, and programming.
Dress your dog in their finest pool attire, bring a towel mingle with fellow pet lovers, and enjoy the museum’s beautiful surroundings. The museum will have doggy pools for dipping, fun pet-friendly activities, and complimentary dog treats!
Orange County Animal Services will be there, and Pawtasic Pet Shop's mobile grooming station will be offering free nail trims for your pups.
Pet owners can enjoy fresh lemonade and Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company beer, plus their will be raffle baskets up for grabs too, including goodies from Maxine's on Shine, and smart watches from Valley National Bank!

The pool symbolizes luxury and leisure in America, and it has been captivating artists since the 1950s with bright sunlight, vibrant colors, and modernist architecture. The exhibition features artists who emerged in the mid-20th century, yet their themes of pool culture, class, and leisure remain strikingly contemporary.
This is further emphasized by the younger generation of artists reclaiming the narrative of the pool in relationship to family, like Amy Bennett and Isca Greenfield-Sanders, and within more social, environmental, and civic contexts, such as Derrick Adams, Anastasia Samoylova, Jay Lynn Gomez.
These themes, so relevant to our lives today, will engage and connect with visitors, now through September 28, 2025.
