Fried Chicken Chain - Slim Chickens opens first Orlando area restaurant in Celebration

Slim Chickens serves a fresh, diverse menu that includes hand-breaded chicken tenders, perfectly fried wings, delicious craft sandwiches, and more.

Hot on the heels of Fatburger opening its first Central Florida location last week in Celebration, another new to the area food option is now available next door to Fatburger!

Slim Chickens, a fried chicken restaurants, has brought its 100% all-natural, fresh chicken to 1525 Future Way, Celebration.

“We’ve had our eye on this location for quite some time,” said Tommy El Mahdi with Florida’s Best Chicken, LLC – the local franchisee group operating this location. “This area is part of a fresh, new and growing development that sits adjacent to a significant part of Florida tourism and history. We are very fortunate to be part of it.”

Aside from bringing its famous, delicious fried chicken and Southern-inspired sides to the area, the new Slim Chickens location in Celebration will also make a positive economic impact with over 75 new jobs anticipated for creation in the community.

The Celebration opening is one piece in Slim Chickens’ larger growth story. Since its founding in 2003, the brand has celebrated over 250 locations opened and a fanatical following in 34 U.S. states, as well as international locations in the United Kingdom, with an overall goal of opening 600 restaurants within the next decade.

In Florida alone, the brand has already grown tremendously to 13 locations.

Slim Chickens also offers fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and its signature chicken and waffles. To offset the savory side of the menu, rotating desserts served in Mason jars are also available.
