Legacy in Bloom, 65th Anniversary Celebration at Leu Gardens

In 2026, Harry P. Leu Gardens proudly marks its 65th anniversary with a celebration titled Legacy in Bloom—a vibrant tribute to the enduring beauty, growth, and impact of this beloved public garden. Over the course of the year, visitors will experience a dynamic calendar of events, programs, exhibits, and installations that honor the Gardens’ rich past, thriving present, and bold future.

IS IT SCIENCE... OR IS IT MAGIC?! Get ready for science to boggle your senses with a dazzling new exhibit where visitors of all ages will gain a deeper understanding of the science behind illusions and the mechanisms that govern human perception. Through hands-on experiences and captivating exhibits, guests will discover how scientific principles create various illusions that fool their brains.


May 30 - September 7

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic projection experience at Luminary Green Park in downtown Orlando! Running nightly through Labor Day on September 7, the park’s projection show has transformed into a red, white, and blue celebration of the nation’s semiquincentennial.


Fairy Doors at Harry P. Leu Gardens

June 8 - September 7

Step into a world of enchantment with Fairy Doors, a delightful exhibit featuring twenty one-of-a-kind, magical doors tucked away throughout the gardens. Each fairy door is crafted by a different fairy and invites young dreamers (and the young at heart) into a realm of secret gardens, whispering woods, and sparkling imagination. A special map will guide your journey, complete with charming tales of the fairies who created each door, adding a touch of storybook magic to your adventure. Gather your family and friends and see if you can find them all…but remember, these doors open only for fairies. Included with daytime admission, this enchanting experience promises wonder, laughter, and a sprinkle of fairy dust for visitors of all ages.

Created in Community: Portraits of Pulse commemorates the 10-year remembrance of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy on June 12, 2016. This powerful exhibition features 49 portraits honoring the lives lost, created through a deeply collaborative community effort. Designed by local artist Jeff Sonksen in a paint-by-number format, the works were completed in 2017 by victims’ families, friends, and members of the Orlando community. Each portrait emerged through a shared process of painting, transforming grief into collective remembrance and healing. As you move through the exhibition at the Terrace Gallery, Orlando City Hall, you are invited to reflect on the lives remembered and the enduring strength of a community united in remembrance.

Enjoy your favorite FLIX for $5.00 every Tuesday all summer long at the iconic Garden Theatre on Plant in downtown Winter Garden! Summer Flix at the Garden features kids & matinees (10 am and 2 pm) as well as evening screenings (7 pm) of classic and contemporary hits. Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the movie series provides a fun, budget-friendly (and air-conditioned) summer activity for the community.

As Orlando gets ready to sizzle, the cities sweetest summer adventure has officially arrived. Florida Dairy Farmers and Visit Orlando are teaming up to launch the first-ever Thrill to Chill: Orlando Ice Cream Trail — a limited-time, self-guided experience that invites locals and visitors to explore Orlando’s vibrant ice cream scene while celebrating the real dairy that makes every scoop possible. Running from May 22 through July 31, the trail turns the search for the perfect frozen treat into a citywide summer experience. From handcrafted gelato and towering milkshakes to nostalgic soft serve and neighborhood scoop shops, participants can discover Orlando one sweet stop at a time. The experience is free and available through a mobile-friendly digital pass.


The Orlando City Soccer Celebration

June 11 - July 19

The Orlando City Soccer Celebration, presented by Verizon, is a free, large-scale, festival-style fan experience that will transform Pointe Orlando into the ultimate soccer destination in Central Florida during the world’s biggest sporting event this summer. Running from June 11 through July 19, the Orlando City Soccer Celebration will show live viewings of all 104 FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, along with an immersive fan experience featuring live music and entertainment, global food and beverage offerings, appearances from Orlando City players, club legends and the team mascot and an official pop-up store. A minimum of five larger-scale events will also take place in Pointe Orlando’s outdoor plazas with live entertainment, interactive areas, giveaways and more along with marquee match viewings.


World Soccer Tournament at Promenade at Sunset Walk

Promenade at Sunset Walk is celebrating the World Soccer Tournament between June 1 - July 19 with property-wide activations, including live watch parties, a soccer goal kicking challenge and food and drink specials. Embracing the tournament’s spirit of global connection, the venue will offer a Goal Getter Giveaway, where fans can enter their favorite team for a chance to win one of 48 custom soccer balls inspired by the participating countries.

A Day of Four Sunsets presents a new body of work by Miami-based artist Dennis Scholl, exploring the poetics of space exploration through assemblages of NASA memorabilia. The exhibition takes its title from astronaut John Glenn’s experience of witnessing four sunsets as he orbited Earth in 1962, evoking themes of time, memory, and the sublime vastness of the cosmos.

Artist Jay Critchley from the Provincetown Community Compact in Massachusetts is again sending colorful ribbons with messages of support that were created for our community after the tragedy. The ribbons will be on display in front of City Hall June 8 through June 14, 2026.

As we approach a decade since the Pulse tragedy, the City of Orlando invites the community to gather in a collective spirit of love and remembrance. On Friday, June 12, 2026, the annual Pulse Remembrance Ceremony will take place at the First United Methodist Church in Downtown Orlando. This event honors the 49 angels taken while also recognizing the enduring strength of the families, survivors, first responders, and trauma teams who were forever changed on June 12, 2016.

Celebrate Pride with some of your favorite local businesses at Zymarium Meadery, 1121 North Mills Avenue, Orlando! J Bauman and Zymarium are coming together to host a Pride themed event with drinks, food and so much more. There will be a food truck out back, as well as a variety of drinks provided by the Meadery. Stylists will be offering hair charms, tinsel and more for an addtional cost in the event room. A basket will be raffled off and the winner will be chosen at the end of the event. Speacial guest Madam Adam will be there offing personal Tarot readings. Face painting will also be available in the event room!

All materials will be provided for you to contribute to a lasting quilt that will be on display in the Heritage Center following Juneteenth.
