This spring the Zoo will transform into a night-time wonderland of glimmering lights from more than 1,000 illuminated whimsical displays of animals, flowers, mythical creatures and more. Head to Clearwater Beach to explore the expansive 24,000-square foot sand sculpture museum featuring the theme, “United in Sand: Celebrating Sports & Spirit.” Eighteen professional sand sculptors will journey from around the world work their magic to transform the world-famous sugar sand into breathtaking sculptures. There’s more fun to have during the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival than grains of sand on Clearwater Beach.
