Tampa's PDQ Chicken has announced the imminent closure of three local locations, in Winter Park, Waterford Lakes, and Hunters Creek.

Fast-casual chain PDQ Chicken announces closures of THREE Orlando Restaurants

In a surprising move, the fast-casual chicken chain PDQ Chicken has announced that it is to close three of its popular restaurants in the Orlando area.


The three locations are, 925 S Orlando Ave, Winter Park, 12195 E Colonial Dr, Waterford Lakes, and 14000 S John Young Pkwy, Hunter creek.


All three locations are to close by September 14, 2025.


PDQ Chicken, founded in Tampa, back in 2011 by Outback Steakhouse co-founder Bob Basham and MVP Holdings CEO Nick Reader, the chicken chain has quickly grown with locations across Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, and New York.



The remaining PDQ Chicken locations in Orlando are unaffected by the closures, and will continue to trade normally.


These are:

875 W. State Road 436, Altamonte Springs.

3187 S. Orange Avenue, SoDo.

11906 Narcoossee Rd, Lake Nona.

1610 Rinehart Rd. Sanford.
