It’s time to get into all the fall fun, and what better way than a kid-friendly fall event in Orlando with pumpkin painting at Wild Florida! On October 14, you and your family can choose any pumpkin and they will provide all the utensils you need to create your pumpkin masterpiece!
You will be able to paint pumpkins from 10 am to 4 pm, giving you and your party plenty of time to let your creativity shine. It’s just $5 per pumpkin you’d like to paint and if you’d like to visit the Gator Park, they are offering a $10 combo ticket for everyone, not just Florida residents! You can either take your pumpkin home or leave it for one of your new animal friends inside the Gator Park. The non-toxic paint won’t hurt any of the animals and will add some pumpkin spice to their exhibit.
But the fun doesn’t stop after you’ve created your fall masterpiece! The’ve set up a scavenger hunt throughout the Gator Park that will give you a chance to earn cool Wild Florida prizes. Be sure to pick up your exclusive clue card at the Gift Shop between 10 am and 2 pm, then use your detective skills to search the animal exhibits to find your answers. After you’ve filled out your card just return it by 2:30 pm to enter the chance to win one of the prizes. And, to make things better, if you finish your card early and correctly, your family will receive an extra, more wild surprise. Wild Florida will choose the winners at 3 pm, so don’t walk too far because your family must be present to claim your prize!
Hint: If you take a family selfie with Yeti, the albino gator who welcomes you in the Wild Florida gift shop, and tag us when you post it on your social channels, your family will earn a second entry!

In addition to Pumpkin Fest at Wild Florida, from Friday, October 20 to Saturday, October 21, Wild Florida is once again hosting Sloth Days, packed with fun for you and your family.
Sloths are easily recognized for being the slowest (and cutest) species in the animal kingdom. And, there are a ton of other interesting facts about sloths that might make you fall more in love. Because of the love people have for sloths and Wild Florida's mission to build a connection between people and their environment, they are dedicating Sloth Days to celebrating sloths through live demonstrations, interactive experiences and other sloth-related activites.

Proceeds donated to APPC Panama
The Panamerican Conservation Association is Panama’s leader in Sloth rescues. They care for sick, injured and orphaned animals. Wild Florida loves to support causes that provide to our wildlife which is why a percentage of the proceeds will go to APPC Panama and their continued efforts.
Free corn on the cob at Chomp House Grill
If you really want to feel like a sloth, visit the Chomp House Grill for free corn on the cob. Fun fact, this is our two-toed friends’ favorite treat!
Surprise sloth pop-ups
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for sights of our furry friends. They will make special appearances around our Gator Park to celebrate their special day.
October 20 – Happy Sloth Day!
Hang out with Wild Florida on the official Sloth Day! Take some awesome slothies during a sloth encounter, then grab a bite to eat at the Chomp House Grill, and pick up your free corn on the cob! You and your family can even hang out at the Recreation Area in the Gator Park to test your own sloth skills.
