International Father-Daughter Duo, Ella & The Bossa Beat released new album ‘AMARE’ on April 24.

Ella & The Bossa Beat return to Judson’s Live for a series of special album release concerts celebrating their highly anticipated new record, AMARE (Schema Records, Milan – 2026).
The album features all original compositions by Ella & The Bossa Beat, with special collaborator TOCO, and includes the successful singles “Amanhecer” (300K+ streams), “Areia” (200K+ streams) and “Amare” (250K+ streams).
The concerts on Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, 2026 will unfold in a relaxed bossa-lounge atmosphere, blending smooth grooves with upbeat selections to keep you singing and dancing throughout the night.
This international father-daughter ensemble features Ella Blu on vocals and piano, Magrus Borges on drums and percussion, André Lafaete on bass and guitar, Alain Bradette on saxophone and flute, along with special guest musicians.
Vocalist and pianist Ella Blu, described as a rising star of the new jazz generation, is a multilingual artist, singing in Portuguese, English and Italian, and is deeply involved in composing, lyric writing and producing alongside her father. Her sound draws from classic jazz traditions infused with soul, bossa nova, and Brazilian jazz. In 2020, Ella received the Focus Brazil Award for Best Female Singer in Orlando.

Magrus Borges is a Grammy-nominated drummer, percussionist, composer and producer from Belém, Brazil. His career includes performances and recordings with renowned international artists such as Astrud Gilberto, Bebel Gilberto, Shakira, Grace Jones, Tania Maria, Larry Coryell, Caetano Veloso, Luiz Melodia and Johnny Alf, one of the pioneers of bossa nova. Magrus has released six original albums, produced numerous projects, and is also a member of the Recording Academy.
While performing and recording internationally, Ella & The Bossa Beat has appeared at prominent jazz venues, festivals, and private events worldwide and maintains a residency at Universal Studios in Orlando.
In 2024, the band toured Brazil, performing at Blue Note Rio de Janeiro and Blue Note São Paulo, followed by appearances at Blue Note Milano. After the release of their third studio album, Paradise, Ella & The Bossa Beat now present their fourth album, AMARE, marking a new chapter in their artistic journey.
