Electric Callboy have become one of the most explosive forces in modern heavy music. Their breakthrough single “Hypa Hypa” (June 2020) — now gold-certified — marked a new era, fusing metalcore, electronic beats, and tongue-in-cheek humor into a style all their own. The track sparked such a global movement that over 100,000 fans even petitioned for their Eurovision 2022 participation.
2022 was a landmark: the Hypa Hypa European Tour sold out, while their album TEKKNO hit #1 in Germany. Momentum grew in 2023 with a nearly sold-out world tour and the second Escalation Fest.
Their singles kept shattering records: “Everytime We Touch” reached 62M streams and 21M YouTube views, while “We Got The Moves” went viral with 158M+ streams. “RATATATA,” a collab with kawaii-metal icons BABYMETAL, became an instant global hit — surpassing 100M streams, 50M video views, topping YouTube’s global trending chart, entering the Viral Top 50 in 40+ countries, and peaking at 1M daily streams.
In 2025, Electric Callboy raised the stakes again. January saw “Elevator Operator,” a funky EDM-fueled anthem with a hilarious video starring Uke Bosse. In May, they released “Revery,” a darker, high-octane track with heavy riffs, sharp lyrics, and one of their most infectious choruses.
Now they’ve dropped a high-energy cover of Sum 41’s punk classic “Still Waiting,” featuring drummer Frank Zummo, turning it into a full-circle, festival-ready collaboration.
