Downtown Orlando Fringe ArtSpace hosting Kuumba Talent Showcase this weekend

KUUMBA, meaning "creativity" in Swahili, is Central Florida Entertainment Advocacy's highly anticipated talent development workshop and showcase, now in its second year, and it is happening this weekend.

Downtown Orlando’s Fringe ArtSpace hosting Kuumba Talent Showcase

CFEA's highly anticipated one-night talent showcase, Kuumva will take place this Sunday, July 16 at Fringe ArtSpace on W. Church St.

Kuumba is CFEA's highly anticipated talent development workshop and showcase, now in its second year.

The talent line up for the showcase will include select work session participants, as well as other invited artists, performing groups, and organizations.

Theperformance features amazing and aspiring talent, with 4-minute time slots allotted to each performer. The art on display embodies Kuumba, which means “creativity” in Swahili, and spotlights Black entertainers in Central Florida.

Don't miss this chance to be a part of a great night for a worthy cause! Doors for the showcase open at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 16. Tickets are $10 with an additional $2 fee. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Central Florida Entertainment Advocacy is a community organization whose mission is to help foster a more diverse, equitable and inclusive arts and entertainment industry in our region.
