Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside Water Wheel to Begin Refurbishment Tomorrow, January 16

Walt Disney World have announced that beginning tomorrow, Monday, January 16, the Water Wheel at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will be refurbished.

Disney have advised that guests visiting the resort may hear construction-related noises and/or see work being performed on the Water Wheel during daytime hours (typically from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.).

This project is currently expected to be completed in late February.

As a result of this refurbishment, a section of the boardwalk will be temporarily closed.

Guests who rent surrey bikes will be offered an alternate path of travel, but no other resort amenities should be impacted.
