Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Lava Pool Water Slide Closing For Refurbishment In January 2022

Starting in early January, the 142-foot Lava Pool water slide at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be closing for routine maintenance.

The refurbishment kicks off on January 3, 2023, with only the slide affected, as the Lava Pool will remain open, available to guests throughout the refurbishment, which is slated to reopen in early February.

As guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area, Walt Disney World are advising guests that the Oasis Pool, will also be available to guests throughout the refurbishment.
