Death Cab for Cutie is coming to Orlando with special guest Swap Meet on March 20, 2027
Indi rock greats Death Cab for Cutie have announced a new North American tour for early 2027 in support of their latest music.
The indie rock band, Death Cab for Cutie, has announced a new headlining tour in support of their latest album, I Built You A Tower, which was released on June 5, 2026 via ANTI- Records - The band's first independent release in over twenty-three years.
The North American run of dates follows tour legs in the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia.
The new dates kick off on January 19 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and ends April 16 in Asheville, North Carolina, and includes a show in Orlando, with the band taking to th estage at Hard Rock Live Orlando on March 20, 2027.

Death Cab for Cutie has been active since 1997 and now have 11 studio albums and eight Grammy nominations under their belts. The group first became known for its introspective and poetic songwriting and was at the forefront of indie rock as it emerged as a genre.
Formed in Bellingham, WA in 1997, Death Cab for Cutie quickly emerged as one of the defining bands of their era, propelled by the emotionally incisive songwriting of co-founder, vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter Benjamin Gibbard.
The band’s global breakthrough came with 2003’s Transatlanticism, a platinum-certified release later named by NPR as one of the decade’s most important recordings. Their 2005 major-label debut Plans pushed them to even greater prominence, earning platinum status and their first GRAMMY nominations.
Subsequent albums—including Narrow Stairs, Codes and Keys, and Kintsugi—continued to expand their sonic palette while securing a total of eight GRAMMY nominations and cementing their critical and cultural standing.
In the years since, Death Cab for Cutie have consistently reaffirmed their relevance and creative ambition, cluminating in the bands latest music, their eleventh studio album, I Built You a Tower, released on June 5, 2026 via ANTI- Records. This is the band's first independent release in over twenty-three years.
