The city of Maitland has yet another new dining location to look forward to, with well know College Park Italian restaurant, Turci Pasta opening soon in downtown Maitland.
The City of Maitland has shared the exciting news that Turci Pasta, the popular eatery on Edgewater Drive that is known for fine dining, fresh, handmade pasta and quaint atmosphere – will open a second restaurant with an additional wine bar inside Maitland City Centre at the corner of Orlando Avenue and Packwood Avenue.
The 3,000-square-foot space – formerly the location of MidiCi Neapolitan Pizza – is the latest new food spot for Maitland City Centre, which recently announced Parea Greek Taverna (set to open this fall) and Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream (quickly preparing for a late May opening).
Existing eateries at MCC include Sanford Brewing Company – Maitland, Houndstooth Kitchen and Eatery, Boku Sushi, CooKit and Starbucks Coffee.
The menu at Turci’s existing location in Orlando features dishes such as squid ink shrimp, pear ravioli with poach pear wine, purple sweet potato gnocchi, lamb shank, beef wellington, lasagna, smoked duck and lots of fresh pastas. The restaurant also serves Lavazza Italian coffees.
Downtown Maitland is home to a growing number of other fantastic incoming restaurants including Lazy Moon Pizza, which is slowly renovating the old Einstein Bros. Bagles building inside the Shoppes at Maitland on Orlando Avenue. Wave Asian Bistro & Sushi, Pizza Bruno, Foxtail Coffee Co. and Thriving Cocktails will open inside the Maitland Social on Horatio Avenue.
All of this, of course, is in addition to some of Central Florida’s longtime best date-night restaurants such as Francesco's Ristorante and Pizzeria, Antonio’s Maitland, Luke's Kitchen and Bar, Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant and Jazz Tastings.
