Welcome to the Gotta Go Orlando Guide to all the amazing holiday parades happening throughout Orlando's neighborhoods this holiday season.

Annual Winter Park Christmas Parade

Each year in Orlando and throughout Central Florida Christmas Parades ushers in the holiday season with floats, festive decorations, and a Santa sack full of fun.


Christmas Parades are a highlight of the holiday season for many local communities, and feature local schools, organizations, and of course Santa Claus!


All the parades listed here are free to attend with the exception of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Orlando, which is included with park admission.



Where To Enjoy Holiday Parades in Orlando 2025

November 21 - January 4

Larger-than-life balloons float through the streets of Universal Studios Florida in Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, along with appearances by the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me and some of your favorite characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar films.


Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is part of Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort, and is included with park admission.


Annual Winter Park Christmas Parade

The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 73rd annual Winter Park Ye Olde Hometown Christmas Parade. The event has been held each December for more than 70 years, making it the oldest continuous holiday parade in Central Florida. 


Each year the parade travels down Park Avenue, starting at Cole Avenue and proceeding south, ending Lyman Avenue. More than 80 organizations participate including marching bands, local police and fire departments, scouting groups, local dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus.

Come enjoy the Longwood Christmas Parade held annually on the 1st Saturday in December featuring stunning cars, seasonal characters, bands, food, and much more. Mc'd by Chad & Leslye from Magic 107.7!

Enjoy an unforgettable Christmas Parade with the City of Oviedo! The parade will be held on December 7 from 6 pm - 9 pm. Attendees can line up along Center Lake Lane and Oviedo Blvd. The parade leaves the Oviedo Gym & Aquatics Center approximately at 7 pm. Vendors, food, drinks, and alcohol will be available for purchase starting at 5 pm at Center Lake Park.


Winter Garden Christmas Parade

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and head to your favorite spot for this annual holiday event. A long-standing Winter Garden holiday tradition will delight spectators and bring in holiday cheer! Do not forget to look for the Big Guy himself at the end of the parade!


The Winter Garden Christmas Parade kicks off at 10:00 am on Dillard Street at the Palmetto Street intersection (by Wells Fargo) proceeds north on Dillard Street, then heads west/left on Plant Street through historic downtown and concludes at Park Avenue.


Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the Winter Garden Christmas Parade is a free community event.

Celebrate the holiday season with Winter Springs at this year’s Winter Wonderland! Enjoy the 43rd Annual Holiday Parade, the Tree Lighting, and the Walkthrough Light Display, all together for one unforgettable evening. Gather with family, friends, and neighbors for live entertainment, festive cheer, and a special appearance from Santa Claus as we kick off the most magical time of the year.

Starting at 1pm, the Leesburg Christmas Festival will fill the streets with festive joy. Enjoy delicious food and warm drinks to fill your holiday spirit. There will also be free ice skating, free face painting, and free photos with Santa—making this a day full of family fun! Don’t miss the special guest appearance from The Grinch—ready to spread both cheer and mischief! As the evening settles in, get ready for the highlight of the day—the 57th Annual Leesburg Christmas Parade at 6pm! Watch as our local community comes together to showcase their holiday spirit, each float celebrating a favorite Christmas carol.


Tavares Christmas Parade and Celebration

On the first Saturday of every December, the sights and sounds of Christmas take over Downtown Tavares. It all begins at 5 pm with our Christmas parade, followed by plenty of fun, activities, and holiday cheer to put you in the Christmas spirit. Enjoy live entertainment, "ice" skating, photo op spots, snowstorms, a giant Christmas tree, a movie in the park, food vendors, and much more. Don't forget the highlight of the evening: visits from Santa!


Parade Route: Starting on Main Street at Sinclair Avenue, heading south to Ruby Street, where the parade route turns eastbound on Ruby Street, continuing east to Saint Clair Abrams, turning north to Main Street, then continuing westbound on Main Street, ending at Sinclair Avenue.


Mount Dora Christmas Parade

An old-fashioned Christmas Parade through the streets of downtown Mount Dora where you'll enjoy floats, bands, dancers, candy and Santa. FREE event.

Starting at the lighthouse, local boat owners compete for best in light show display and originality.

Best places to view include Grantham Point (311 S Tremain Street) and Elizabeth Evans Park (100 N Donnelly Street).

Organized by the Winter Park Rotary Club, head to Dinky Dock Park to see the Winter Park Boat Parade, featuring sparkling boat and dock holiday decorations created by residents and local business sponsors.


Sanford Holiday Parade of Lights

December 13

Join us on Saturday, December 13 for the spectacular "Holiday Parade of Lights" in Downtown Sanford! Witness illuminated floats, dazzling vehicles, vibrant dance groups, and marching bands by local schools, businesses and community organizations showcasing their holiday spirit along the one-mile route. Don't miss out on this captivating celebration


Kissimmee Festival of Lights

Welcome to the magical extravaganza of the City of Kissimmee's Festival of Lights! Join us in downtown Kissimmee for our annual parade and holiday festival, a celebration of the holiday season.


Experience the enchantment as community, business, and groups illuminate the streets with dazzling floats. Delight in the festivities at our Holiday Festival, where you can enjoy free crafts, snacks, and even meet and greet with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their merry band of elves. Embrace the spirit of the season with us as we come together to create cherished memories and spread joy throughout our community.

The Foliage Sertoma Club of Apopka and the City of Apopka present this annual parade. The route runs northbound on Park Avenue from United Methodist Church of Apopka to Votaw Road. 


December 14

This year, DeBary is trading sleigh bells for seashells at their beloved annual holiday parade. The Very Merry Beach Christmas Parade is your chance to bring tropical cheer to our hometown celebration. Businesses, clubs, churches, families, and friends, we invite you to design a float that shines with seaside spirit and Christmas joy. Together, let’s make this parade a sea of creativity, laughter, and community pride!


The parade will begin at Spring Vista Drive, turn left onto North U.S. Highway 17/92, and end at Poinsettia Drive — approximately 1.3 miles in total.
