Two Michelin Star and James Beard Awards Winner, Chef Ryan Ratino has revelaed that his new high-end 16 seat chef’s counter is ready to open in Winter Park.

Exciting news for Central Florida foodies as 2 Michelin star chef Ryan Ratino together with Hive Hospitality are opening a new high-end, intimate restaurant in Winter Park this weekend!


Ômo by Jônt features an experiential tasting menu with high-end Japanese seafood.


The new 16-seat restaurant is located in the former Sushi Pop space at 115 E. Lyman Ave. in Winter Park.

Chef Ryan Ratino, whose tasting menu concept, Jônt in Washington, D.C., has gained two Michelin Stars, will now be hoping to replicate the success of the DC Restaurant here in Central Florida with Ômo by Jônt.


Ratino, 33 is no stranger to Orlando's foodie scene, having worked as sous chef at Shula's Steak House, and executive chef at Todd English's Bluezoo, both at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort.

Ômo by Jônt will be a showcase for Chef Ryan Ratino's skills, delivering one of the most exciting, awe-inspiring meals in town.


Ratino will take diners on a culinary adventure. immersing them in a progressive tasting menu focusing on the simple, yet luxurious, ingredients around the world with deep inspiration from Japanese cuisine.

Experience a culinary adventure featuring a curated display of nearly 22 preparations featuring some of the best ingredients from around the world!


The 16-seat restaurant will feature three unique dining areas.


Guests will enter the Living Room first, enjoying Champagne and a selection of canapés, including shiitake bao with black bean fudge, wagyu tart with truffle dashi and onion. plus foie gras doughnuts.

From the Living Room, guests will enter the Savory Counter for dinner. Here guests will enjoy a menu including king crab rice and hokkaido sea urchin.


Lastly, guests will move to the pastry parlor where they can enjoy sweet treats such as a chocolate soufflé tart with green coffee ice cream.


This full experience will be $245 per person, with drink pairings starting at $195. The restaurant will also offer a Saturday lunch service also that will range from $155 - $170.
