A huge gathering of celebrity tributes is coming to Orlando with celebrity impersonators, look-a-likes and tribute artists.
If you happen to see Elvis Presley, Elton John, Taylor Swift and Marilyn Monroe at a bar in Orlando soon, don't worry you're not dreaming! It's just another day at the Celebrity Impersonators Convention in Orlando!
The 19th Annual Sunburst Convention of Celebrity Impersonators is an annual convention that is once again returning to Orlando in September.
Taking place at The Florida Hotel and Conference Center attached to The Florida Mall, the public is invited to attend two showcases on September 22 & 23, 2023 where they will see over 30 professional celebrity impersonators perform and appear on stage each of the two days of showcases, with different performers each day.
The convention is held each year as a way for professional celebrity impersonators from across the country to meet face to face to have fun and get up to date on the latest marketing and promotional trends. These professional entertainers are booked at corporate events, fairs, festivals, casinos, cruise ships and night clubs across the US, making it a multi-million (if not billion) dollar industry.
This year's convention will feature The 1st Annual Sunburst Gala of Celebrity Impersonators where the public can come and rub elbows with the "rich and famous". It will feature nearly 100 professional Celebrity Impersonators, look a likes and tribute artists. The night will include a Red Carpet entrance complete with paparazzi and press, photo stations, dancing, a live show and cash bar.
Having started it back in 2004. The convention has been featured on CNN, The Rachael Ray Show, FUSE TV, Late Night With David Letterman, The Daily Buzz and many more television shows. It was the featured subject of “Just About Famous”, a documentary short that is winning awards at film festivals across the United States, and has also been featured and written about in numerous magazine and newspapers all over the world.
