Orlando loves to put on a show, and the annual 4th of July celebrations are no exception, and as the nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Orlando theme parks are ready to celebrate in style, with spectacular star spangled fireworks, patriotic parades, dazzling dance parties, and so much more.
If you're planning on being in Orlando's theme parks for the 4th of July Weekend, the parks will be busy, and when we say busy, we mean very busy!! The upside is the parks have an amazing atmosphere on Independence Day, with tons of extra entertainment and fun for everyone.
At Walt Disney World, the celebrations will take place in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, with massive fireworks displays, dance parties, special character meet and greets, and more. At Universal Orlando, there will be 4th of July celebrations in Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, and Universal CityWalk. There will also be spectacular fireworks and entertainment at SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and LEGOLAND Florida.

Magic Kingdom
Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky
Expanding beyond Independence Day, the beloved fireworks show “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” will play across all three nights of the holiday weekend at Magic Kingdom, July 3 – 5, at 9 pm.
The spectacular 14-minute, 360-degree fireworks spectacular dazzles the skies high above Cinderella Castle in red, white and blue, and will be broadcast live across the nation as part of a 24-hour, multi-platform broadcast, “Disney Celebrates America,” highlighting America’s 250th anniversary events nationwide across Disney’s linear networks and streaming platforms, including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX and National Geographic.
The broadcast will end with a special evening fireworks broadcast from Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. .
The party doesn’t stop there at Magic Kingdom, throughout the 4th of July Weekend, guests can indepen-dance at DJ parties happening around the park in Frontierland, Cinderella Castle and Tomorrowland.

Witness The Flag Retreat at Magic Kingdom
Be surrounded by the sounds of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and join in to witness the daily Flag Retreat at Magic Kingdom., which takes place at 5 pm each day on Main Street U.S.A. where guests can pledge allegiance as the flag is lowered.
Since the park opened in 1971, this ceremony has honored the American flag each night as a celebratory tribute to U.S. Veterans. Military Veterans often participate in the ceremony, receiving heartfelt recognition for their service and sacrifice.
Stroll Down Main Street
Influenced by Walt Disney’s boyhood home of Marceline, Missouri, Main Street U.S.A. offers a nostalgic glimpse of a classic American town from the turn of the 20th century.
This vibrant Victorian backdrop invites you and your family to experience the renowned Dapper Dans barbershop quartet, charming horse-drawn carriages, and the spirited performances of the Main Street Philharmonic.

EPCOT
Luminous the Symphony of Us, followed by Heartbeat of Freedom
At EPCOT, families can gather on July 3 - 5 at 9 pm to enjoy the awe-inspiring nighttime spectacular, “Luminous the Symphony of Us,” directly followed at 9.15 pm by ”Heartbeat of Freedom” – a sparkling grand finale blending pyrotechnics with tributes to America’s history.
Spaceship Earth,
While at EPCOT, make sure to bask in the glowing light of the iconic Spaceship Earth, which will be illuminated in bright red, white and blue colors at night on July 4, for all to enjoy!

Live Entertainment
For some daytime fun at EPCOT on July 4, enjoy special photo opportunities with your favorite patriotic pals Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Chip ‘n’ Dale at The American Adventure. Plus, A cappella vocal group Voices of Liberty will perform numbers from the American songbook beneath the rotunda in The American Adventure
Soarin’ Across America
EPCOT is celebrating America 250 with “Soarin’ Across America,” an immersive new flight experience aboard the beloved Soarin’ attraction. “Soarin’ Across America” will take guests on a breathtaking journey, highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.
American Adventure
The American Adventure spotlights American history and heritage. The show is a journey through important moments in America’s history narrated by Audio-Animatronic figures of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. Enjoy everyday.

Independence Day for Disney World Resort Guests

There’s only one thing more exciting than a new theme park: visiting said theme park during a holiday! The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, and Universal Epic Universe has so much fun in store that missing out isn’t even an option.

Jam out to a live, continuous DJ set at the Hemisphere Stage from 5 - 9 pm.
Snap a photo with Fourth of July-themed stilt walkers near the Hemisphere Stage and Cosmos Fountain throughout the evening starting at 5 pm.
Keep an eye out for lively ground performers near the Hemisphere Stage and Cosmos Fountain throughout the evening beginning at 5:30 pm.
Find the best seat at the Cosmos Fountain for a Fourth of July fireworks show at 9 pm and a captivating fountain show at 10 pm.

4th of July at Universal Studios Florida
Summer just isn’t summer unless it’s at Universal Studios Florida, and Fourth of July is the icing on the cake on top of all the fun this season already has to offer!
Watch four 15-minute Street Breakz performances at the Expo Circle at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, and 8:30 pm.

Catch CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular from the Lagoon at 9 p.m.
See stilt walkers and ground performers take over the Music Plaza Stage from 6:15 pm – 9:50 pm while live DJs pump the jams from 5:15 pm – 10 pm.

4th of July at Universal CityWalk
Invite even more action this Fourth of July by spending it at Universal CityWalk. Listen to live musical performances from American Sirens on the Plaza Stage from 5 pm – 8 pm and Hall of Fame on the Waterfront Stage from 8 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.
A live DJ will man the Promenade from 8 pm – 12:30 am while atmosphere performers and stilt walkers maintain good vibes all night long.

Red, White & BOOM! returns to LEGOLAND Florida Resort for one unforgettable night on Saturday, July 4, 2026, as families celebrate America’s 250th birthday with patriotic fun, hands-on LEGO® activities, live entertainment, and a bigger-than-ever fireworks spectacular.
Guests can enjoy extended park hours from 10 am to 9 ppm while taking part in family-friendly activities throughout the day, including an American Flag LEGO Build where guests can help create a patriotic LEGO display, character meet-and-greets, a DJ dance party and special entertainment leading up to the night’s grand finale.

A Bigger-Than-Ever Fireworks Spectacular
The celebration culminates with LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s biggest Red, White & BOOM! 4th of July fireworks show yet. This year’s grand finale has been extended to an epic 12-minute fireworks spectacular over Lake Eloise, delivering more dazzling bursts, breathtaking moments and LEGO inspired fun than ever before.
Guests will once again receive special viewing glasses that transform every burst into colorful LEGO brick shapes, making the fireworks experience uniquely LEGOLAND.
The excitement starts long before the first firework launches. Beginning at 6 pm, families can enjoy a high-energy DJ dance party featuring music and interactive fun for guests of all ages. Fireworks viewing glasses will be distributed beginning at 7:45 pm before the evening’s grand finale.
Upgrade Your Night with VIP Fireworks Seating
Families looking to make the most of the celebration can purchase a VIP Fireworks Seating Package for $30 plus tax per guest, in addition to park admission.
Available exclusively on July 4, 2026, the package includes reserved VIP seating in the South Ski Stadium, an exclusive VIP lanyard, a commemorative Pop Badge keepsake, one bottled water per guest and dedicated VIP check-in and escorted seating.
Capacity is limited to 120 guests, and advance purchase is recommended.
