Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire premieres on March 22 and you’re looking for the ultimate viewing experience. Who you gonna call? Dezerland Park, of course!


The fifth installment in the Ghostbusters series sees a star-studded cast with Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace return to the iconic New York City firehouse and help the original Ghostbusters take ghost fighting to the next level while saving the world from a second Ice Age.

 

Fans of the franchise can see the new movie at Dezerland Park’s on-site movie theater, Cinemark Orlando and XD, and enjoy a host of special offerings to celebrate Ghostbusters iconic legacy.

Photo Opportunities and Orlando Auto Museum Discount

Guests can present their ticket for the movie from the on-site Cinemark theater to receive 50% off their entry to the Orlando Auto Museum to see a very special piece of Hollywood history from the “Ghostbusters” franchise.

 

The Ecto-1, also known as the Ectomobile, guests can find at the museum is the perfect photo-op for fans of the franchise to stop by and snap some selfies with after seeing Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Eagle-eyed fans can even take a look at the dashboard, which was signed by star of the new film, Mckenna Grace, at this year’s Megacon.

 

Plus, throughout the weekend, enthusiasts from CAT5 Ghostbusters, a non-profit fan group, will be onsite, in costume to take pictures with fans by the entrance to Cinemark inside Dezerland Park with a replica Belvedere Ecto-1.


Photo opportunities with the cosplayers will be available on Saturday, March 23 at 5 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 at noon, 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.


NEW Toxic Blast

Guests who want to get in on the action can visit Dezerland’s newest attraction — Toxic Blast. Families and friends can team up or battle against each other in a thrilling, black light combat experience — the first of its kind on International Drive. Guests will gear up with their state-of-the-art gel blaster, a hopper full of “gellets” and colored masks as they enter the immersive, black light arena for a 45-minute adrenaline-pumping adventure.


Social Media Giveaways

Plus, guests who share their photos on social and tag @Dezerland_Park and @TheOrlandoAutoMuseum will be entered to win free Cinemark movie tickets or one of the popcorn bins modeled after the iconic character, Slimer.

 

Moviegoers can also explore Dezerland Park’s other attractions, including Florida's longest indoor go-kart track, Pinball Palace, a laser tag maze, a trampoline park and more. Dezerland is also home to the Orlando Auto Museum, America’s largest auto museum which is home to more than 2,000 vehicles valued at over $200 million, featuring everything from military vehicles used in combat to cars made famous by television and movies and vehicles from a variety of decades and countries around the world.
