Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Closing Due To Severe Weather From Storm Nicole

Tropical Storm Nicole has forced yet another Central Florida theme park to close ahead of her arrival.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced that it will be closed on tomorrow, Thursday, November 10 due to Tropical Storm Nicole.

Precautions are in place following the park's comprehensive weather preparedness plan to ensure the safety of the animals and ambassadors during this time.

On the forecast track, the center of Nicole will move near or over the Abacos and Grand Bahama in the northwestern Bahamas this afternoon and move onshore the east coast of Florida within the hurricane warning area tonight.," the NHC said. "Nicole's center is then expected to move across central and northern Florida into southern Georgia Thursday and Thursday night, and then across the Carolinas Friday and Friday night.
