Brevard Zoo in Melbourne is offering great deals just for Florida residents now through until the end of September.
This is a great chance to visit, and this month, adults can get 50% off the cost of zoo admission. The discounted tickets can be purchased online or in person.
When you arrive, you must present a state-issued photo ID or a utility bill with a Florida address and matching photo ID.
Fast froward to September, and children 11 years and younger will receive FREE admission to the Zoo as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult who is a Florida resident.
For every paying adult, up to three children can get in for free, and again, adults must present a state-issued photo ID or utility bill with a Florida address and matching photo ID.
Note that during August and September the Expedition Africa area of the zoo will be closed through September 25 as part of a massive renovation that includes building a new lion habitat which is expected to open in summer 2024.
During the closure, giraffe feeding, the rhino experience and kayaking will not be available.
