BOO TO YOU! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has officially returned for some wicked good Halloween fun at Magic Kingdom!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, has kicked off for spooky season 2023, with select dates available through November 1.
Opening night of the after hours ticketed event brought lots of “fang-tastic” fun to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! With frightful friends and cauldrons brimming with candy galore, everyone had a spooktacular time kicking off the most spirited season of all!

New this year to the limited-capacity after hours event is a spirited pirate band and their crew taking over Adventureland, plus Max Goof and his Powerline party pack starring in new pop-up parties throughout Magic Kingdom.
Plus this years Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade has seen quite a few upgrades including Ursula, Cruella de Vil, the Queen of Hearts, and the Sanderson Sisters - Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabell, plus, watch out for the Seven Dwarfs who have returned to this years Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

First up, opening night was hot, like probably the hottest night of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ever!
With the temperature sitting around the 90s, sensibly not so many guests were in costume, but the event was very busy.
Oh but we must say that this year, the Magic Kingdom is decorated boo-tifully!

As always the majority of rides and attraction are available to guests throughout the event, including Space Mountain in complete darkness, and Mad Tea Party with spooky music and party lighting.

Always a highlight of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.
The show is the same as in previous years...
Gather ‘round as your host—Jack Skellington—delights with this not so scary-tale that proves anything can happen at Halloween!
During a frightfully fun fireworks display, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy are spirited away to a mysterious haunted house where they encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a sinister gathering of Disney villains! Don’t miss this dazzling spectacular featuring state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lights and fireworks.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
The mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus have returned for 2023 to throw a glorious Halloween party in the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular stage show.
The show returns pretty much the same as previous years...
With only a few hours to run amuck, Winifred, Mary and Sarah decide to use their magic to host a decidedly wicked fun fest during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Enlisting the help of the Disney villains, the 3 sisters mix sinister shadows, terrifying nightmares and use the nefarious powers of their frightening colleagues to conjure the ultimate Hocus Pocus Party Potion—and cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom park!
It was fun to spot Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie and Maleficent too!
With great Disney villains with amazing dancers, wild visual projections and otherworldly special effects that make Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular a not-to-be-missed Halloween treat!
The show takes place several times nightly, the opening night show times were 8:35 pm, 10:45 pm and 12:00 am.
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade
Another highlight of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, which has undergone some big changes this year.
Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow are dressed for Halloween leading Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade, dressed up as the iconic Sanderson Sisters from Disney's Hocus Pocus.
The trio are included on a new-look float that leads the parade that also includes Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Chip & Dale.
Also new this year, the Halloween Hoedown now features fun scarecrows, with Goofy, atop the Hoedown float.
The dastardly villains have an even bigger presence this year, with a surprise appearance by Ursula, as she glides through the streets, accompanied by her dastardly sidekicks, Flotsam and Jetsam. Plus Cruella DeVille is chauffeured in a car driven by Jasper and Horace!!
Also new to the Disney villains unit, the Queen of Hearts leads an amazing troop of playing cards, adding a fun touch to the parade.
As well as new additions to the parade, Disney have removed the entire Pixar unit, featuring Toy Story and The Incredibles, plus Ralph from the Candy Crush unit.
The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet
Get ready to encounter the ghostly group known as the Cadaver Dans. They really like "axing" Guests questions… and answering with puns as part of their “dead pan” humor!
This Dapper Dans-style quartet will have you howling in laughter to a bone-rattling bevy of tunes.
Pirate Crew in Adventureland
Adventureland will be taken over by a spirited pirate band and their crew. Be sure to listen for their sea shanties while their shipmates roam the land sharing tales of their explorations at sea.
New Powerline Pop-Up Parties
Get ready for even more chances to “Stand Out” with Max Goof and his Powerline party pack at new pop-up parties throughout Magic Kingdom before this popular crew dances onto Main Street U.S.A. ahead of Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.
Dance Parties
Disney Junior Jam Dance Party
Guests will find the Disney Junior Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe this year, which in the heat of the night was awesome, with lots of awesome AC!
The Disney Junior Jam dance party is offered from 7 pm until midnight and guests can dance with Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, Timon, and Doc McStuffins throughout the night.
ZOM-BEATZ BASH
The ZOM-BEATS BASH takes place on the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in the non AC outdoors!
At the ZOM-BEATZ BASH, guests can dance to music from the Disney Channel Z-O-M-B-I-E-S from 7 pm until midnight.
Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park
As always guests can satisfy their sweet tooth at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party by stopping by trick-or-treating locations throughout Magic Kingdom.
Don't forget to get your fill of free Halloween sweets and snacks as you gather up goodies from land to land in your free trick or treat bag you get when you arrive.
A change this year is that Cast Members are using a scoop to scoop up candy from the barrel to put in your bag.
Oh, and if you have a food allergy, please see a Cast Member to pick up a teal-colored treat bag. When you trick-or-treat with your teal bag, you’ll receive a teal token at the treat stations which you can redeem at Allergy-Friendly Centers for your special treats!

What we will say is that the lines for the characters were LONG, really, really long!For example, the wait time for Jack Skellington & Sally in the Town Square Theater was THREE HOURS!
